🔼🔼 Sue Mae? 🔼🔼
We finished up our brick laying on the driveway,
officially wrapping up the multi-week extravaganza.
Funnily enough, the pipe we set to allow cable under the driveway
was put to use not 4 days after we set it by another unrelated team.
We did some touchup on a previous project, about 35 bales as pine straw and some trim work.
An added bonus of a crawfish lunch from the client made the day infinitely better!
My next task was taking all the dead ferns out of this plot.
Adding in some much needed variety to the existing planting.
I got a first hand lesson on how to use the rule of 3 and the rule of 5 in practice.
After putting them all in, it definitely had a new air of spring to compliment the unique raised planting.
Our final project of the 2 weeks was even more pine straw in the most
bug and arachnid infested planting bed I've ever seen.
I was not as much of a help on this run, too busy having a panic attack over the
scariest, most pregnant, tick resembling spiders I've ever seen. 😅
