Spring has finally sprung here, everything is blooming and I’m becoming acquainted with all the new plants! The bulbs are plentiful, lots of daffodils, irises, and even more things I’ve never seen before.

I’ve also explored more of the Greenway near my office, it’s basically a linear park created with “The Big Dig” where Boston put their interstate underground instead of through downtown. Pictured below is Armenian Heritage Park, part of the greenway, with a monument dedicated to the Armenian genocide and a walking labyrinth. Behind in the temporary ferris wheel and carousel that was up for winter.

I got to go on a few CA visits! First was a project with the city of Arlington, MA where a playground is being put into a local park and there were adjacent trees and wetland to consider. We met with the GC and city officials, but it was pretty chill overall! Next was a mixed-use project in Watertown, MA that we’re doing a path and streetscapes for. This one was far more official since there was like active construction on the building, so we had to wear hard hats and everything. We met with the GC to look at some PIP stamped concrete samples (which lowkey looked the same lol).
