   🔼🔼Unnamed cute dog🔼🔼

These two weeks have been a continuation of our job from last week as well as a drainage project.

I had the pleasure of working with two past interns whilst we finishd up the first pour of concrete and started our second project.

It was ovely working with two extra sets of hands and they provided great company.

To begin our second project, we first needed to knock out some sidewalk to make way for our pipes.

We then continued up past the right side of the house, following a low spot up into higher elevation.

Once we finished with that, we started on the next problem area.
This area was overflowing onto the carport; We put a series of catch basins, perforated PVC wrapped in filter fabric, and stone.

This depression causes surrounding groundwater from the saturated soil to flow to the new low point and dry out the yard.
Issues on site considered to be solved.

Next, we popped back over to our driveway and began to knock out the remaining concrete.

With the stage set, we plan on pouring the remainder of the driveway tomorrow.
Ill update with the finished product soon.

Today I got a nice look into the design process/ method used in the office, I really enjoyed the attention to detail required by residential projects. Particularly on a site which had direct sun at the worst times and a wind tunnel effect so bad it did damage to the area.  Some carful planting, material choice, and wind barriers should do the job whenever we instal them.
